Suzuran, one of Moscow's first speakeasy bars, is wrapping up operations in its current form. The venue, located near Chistoprudny Boulevard and Pokrovka, marked its tenth anniversary this year. It was Anton Gayvoronsky's first project, before he went on to create Hookahplace, Silencio, and Rockstar Dogs. Now the bar is closing — but not for good.

A full overhaul awaits the project, from concept to interior. It'll be back soon in a new format under the name Suzuran 2.0. But before that, guests can look forward to a farewell party, taking place February 28 at 20:00. On the program: a welcome cocktail, 47's Ronin, made with Advocaat liqueur, limoncello, and cinnamon, plus the atmosphere that made regulars fall in love with this bar in the first place.
