Gastronomic Weekend Aboard Cruise II.

On August 16 and 17, a two-day program combining music and cuisine from guest chefs and teams takes place aboard Cruise II by Kuznyahouse. Saturday's menu is presented by Maya Klugman, known as Eat Girl and the inspiration behind Tel Aviv café Orby. She's brought to Moscow the beloved items from that spot's menu, including hearty toasts with tuna, egg salad, or "peaguacamole," served with charred lime. Breakfast is rounded out with rice porridge with pineapple, orange zest, and coconut cream, plus a tiramisu scented with Earl Grey tea.

Saturday's sailing, "Eat Cruise Love," starts at noon and combines gastronomy with a dance-party atmosphere. Alongside Maya on board will be her friend Seryozha Raumtester, performing under the alias Smalltown Boy. He's known for taking part in Moscow-Berlin raves, and this time he's chosen a disco mood to round out the morning gathering on the water.

On Sunday, August 17, at 2:45 p.m., pop-up café BUF a39 joins the Cruise II team. They've prepared a menu with an Italian accent, starting with broccoli tonnato, where blanched broccoli replaces the traditional veal and sprats are added to the sauce. Aglio e olio pasta with garlic and olive oil is served with beef tartare and grana padano cheese.

A special place on the menu goes to a vanilla curd-cheese casserole, garnished with baked cream and homemade strawberry-and-gooseberry jam. The Italian theme continues with a mango granita, which the BUF a39 team prepares in a new variation every week. This time, the dessert of crushed fruit ice and sugar creates the feeling of a seaside vacation.

Musical accompaniment for Sunday's sailing comes from members of theater project a39 — Sasha Alyabyev and Dominique Mara. Their set combines Italo-disco, synth-pop, and improvisational musical elements, so guests can spend the day in an atmosphere that's relaxed yet energetic.
