Brodo bar & kitchen keeps putting the emphasis on connecting with guests, including through interior elements. A contact bar counter sits at the center of the bar, underlining how important conversation is to the venue's atmosphere. The bar has now added a new way to share its inspiration — through cocktails that trace the evolution of the glossy-magazine world. The venue's team, led by head bartender Alexander Gatovkin, decided to join the art of cocktail-making with the history of magazines and their influence on society.

Alexander Gatovkin studied the development of glossy publications from Paris to the digital age, and created a cocktail list made up of 9 drinks, each tied to a distinct era and moment in magazine history. These cocktails don't just showcase the taste preferences of different periods — they also give a sense of how magazines shaped the lifestyle, views, and style of entire generations.
Every cocktail carries its own unique story and meaning, with a specific period and cultural significance behind it. The list is themed in the style of glossy publications. Instead of the usual menu, guests receive a magazine with photographs created by the Brodo team, inspired by the most striking covers of famous magazines.

Brodo's new list features cocktails that touch on all sorts of aspects of life, from the earliest scientific journals to bold glossy magazines and digital formats, letting every guest immerse themselves in a unique world where each era comes alive through flavor.
