First "Kofemania" Festival to Take Place in Bauman Garden.

Ahead of its 25th anniversary, the Kofemania restaurant brand is launching its own festival — an intimate open-air picnic. It takes place on August 23 in Bauman Garden and runs from noon until ten in the evening. The festival is called "Kofemania on the Grass" and brings guests together around coffee, food, music, film, and outdoor activities. It's the chain's first large-scale celebration, made for a broad audience — from coffee connoisseurs to families with kids and guests with pets.

The day's main event will be the open Coffee Race competition — Kofemania's internal barista olympiad, shown to the public for the first time. Teams of coffee specialists will brew drinks, and the jury will taste them blind and pick a winner. Meanwhile, in the coffee-school zone, guests can learn how to make good coffee at home — the restaurant's experts will explain and demonstrate the basic principles and approaches. The food court will also offer desserts, light snacks, and full dishes, including a salad bar and a "guilty pleasures" menu. Separate bars will serve cold and hot coffee drinks, as well as lemonades.

"Kofemania on the Grass" isn't just about food and drink. The festival program includes sports activities like mini-golf, badminton, and pétanque, vinyl DJ sets, an evening outdoor film screening, and a barber zone. One of the key spaces will be an open-air "Kofemania" Museum, displaying objects tied to the brand's history: the first menu, tableware, cups, and rare artifacts linking the company's history to different chapters of Moscow's life. A separate parking area is set up for pet owners, so animals can spend their time comfortably too.

The festival is supported by developer "Donstroy," which will present its "Simvol" project — a residential district inspired by the idea of change and a new urban environment. Entry to "Kofemania on the Grass" will be organized from Staraya Basmannaya Street. Children under 10 can attend for free if accompanied by an adult with a ticket. A standard ticket costs 5,000₽, a child's ticket (ages 10 to 18) costs 3,000₽. For those wanting access to the bar zone, there's an 8,500₽ ticket.
