Bar "Tilda" near Patriarch's Ponds now has three new seasonal cocktails to try, created by head bartender Alexander Merkov. Every drink reflects his special relationship with spring. Spring has always been an important season for Alexander — it was in spring that he first started working at a bar, and he always looked forward to this time of year with particular eagerness. Through the new cocktails, he conveys the feelings of joy, warmth, and inspiration he associates with nature waking up.

The first cocktail is named Vesna ("Spring"). It's built on two kinds of soju and strawberry. The drink's light flavor recalls the first days of March, when nature is just starting to wake up, the drip of melting icicles rings out on the streets, and a sense of coming warmth hangs in the air. The cocktail seems to invite you to feel renewal and lightness along with nature.
The second cocktail is called Green Line. It's devoted to April and to Alexander's passion for drawing. Its main ingredient is an herbal cordial made from rosemary, thyme, mint, and sage. These herbs give the cocktail a disciplined, composed character that echoes the mood of April — the month when spring finally comes fully into its own, while still holding on to some coolness and restraint.

The third cocktail is called Ping-Pong Flower, referencing May and the riot of blossoming. It's a light spritz based on sparkling wine, with pronounced notes of violet, elderflower, and gentian. The bubbles rise slowly through the glass, evoking ping-pong balls, Alexander's favorite game. This cocktail fills you with the carefree joy that belongs to May.
The cocktails Alexander Merkov created have become a reflection of his talent and his love of spring. They continue to delight "Tilda's" guests, carrying the warmth and mood of their creator.
