Ayu restaurant menu

The cuisine is Japanese and follows an omakase format: the chef builds the course for each guest personally. The menu leaves no room for choice — the set's composition changes with the season, following whichever ingredient is at its peak. Dinner opens with light vegetable courses and soba, followed by seafood and fish dishes. Octopus at Ayu is braised, while scallop and amaebi are served nearly raw. Our restaurant guide recommends trying the Hotate (帆立) and Kinmedai (金目鯛).
