The concept for SMELO was developed by Maksim Nikitenko, and chef Valisher Musaev runs the kitchen. At the heart of the menu are ingredients from local farmers and a philosophy of food without unnecessary effort: straightforward, tasty, and relevant every single day.

The project's main strength lies in its ability to fold different reasons for a visit into one continuous city rhythm. A morning coffee stop, a long breakfast, a daytime meeting, and a calm evening with wine all feel equally natural here. Artisan bread doesn't play a supporting role — it's part of the overall scenario, just as important as the service, the atmosphere, and the work with local produce.
SMELO brings morning coffee, artisan bread, and an evening gastronomic rhythm together under one roof, without splitting the day into separate scenarios.
The restaurant is located on Prospekt 40 Let Oktyabrya and occupies one of the city's most recognizable spots. Inside: a restrained interior with no unnecessary details, a coffee list, and a well-thought-out wine and cocktail program. The in-house bakery produces artisan bread that becomes part of breakfast as well as a full lunch or dinner.
As the weather warms, the center of gravity shifts to the open terrace — it's the terrace that turns into the epicenter of city life during the summer months. In the morning, guests come for early coffee and pastry; at lunchtime, for hearty dishes built on local produce; and toward evening, the restaurant shifts into a mode of unhurried gastronomic dinners.
SMELO operates in Pyatigorsk at Prospekt 40 Let Oktyabrya, 62a. The average check is 1,500 rubles. Reservation line: +7 962 000 00 89.
