The summer cocktail list at bar The Nest was created by a guest bartender — Kenan Assab, who previously worked at The Nest, World Chess Club Moscow, "Antikvarny Boutique & Bar," and "Mendeleev." He's returned to his home bar with a new signature cocktail lineup inspired by the season. Sunny heat, sudden rain, and warm wind gave Assab ideas for drinks weaving together summer fruit, herbs, and unexpected flavor accents.

The menu features cocktails where every ingredient works to build the image of summer. Wild Adonis, for instance, is built on wild strawberry, red vermouth, and a quinquina aperitif, served as a light but memorable aperitif. For Racy Bellini, ripe peach and sparkling wine were used, the flavor amplified with ristretto inside the glass and caramel crumble on the outside. In hot weather, the refreshing Summer Boom Collins helps — three kinds of mint at once, bergamot liqueur, and homemade cucumber soda.

Light Green Gimlet conveys the mood of a vegetable garden — craft gin combined with a gooseberry-celery cordial and a hint of salty Maldon salt. Fresh Sake Highball plays on the balance of citrus, cactus, yuzu, and Abkhazian lemon — achieved through precise work with sake and distillates. The most conceptual presentation belongs to Pale Mary — using an oyster distillate, Japanese shochu, tomato water, and a lager reduction, creating clear associations with a seaside vacation.

Fans of non-alcoholic cocktails weren't overlooked either. Tonka Americano is a non-alcoholic aperitif built on the classic by Gaspare Campari: the balance of sweetness and bitterness is achieved here with non-alcoholic vermouths, bitters, and homemade soda with grape and tonka bean. Another option: Melon Basil Sour, combining melon, basil, non-alcoholic gin, and popcorn, which adds texture and character.

The Nest's new menu doesn't just change the drinks list — it offers a seasonal take on cocktails through flavor, aroma, and mood. Kenan Assab has turned every cocktail into a mini-scene where summer plays the lead role.
