The menu at Lumicino has changed — what's left are emotions, textures, basil, and a little irony

At Lumicino, they believe flavor isn't just the outcome of culinary calculation — it's a feeling, conveyed through ingredients, textures, and combinations. The new menu is built entirely around freshness, balance, and small culinary flourishes of boldness. Every dish carries a mood, a play of flavors, and the chef's clear idea: food should speak to the guest not loudly, but precisely.

The menu opens on light notes: warm bruschetta with salmon, avocado cream, and blood orange, recalling that first breath of fresh air. Creaminess and citrus are joined here to play up a simple but expressive presentation. A little further along: calamaretti with burrata and tomatoes. In this pasta, the leading role goes to texture: firm pasta, delicate cheese, warm sauce. Mixing it all together on the plate gives a particularly cohesive flavor — that's advice straight from the chef.

For those who like unexpected accents, mussel risotto with a curry sauce has joined the menu — a dish with a light Eastern character that the chef himself calls "a trip to India." If instead you'd rather stay within Italian tradition, look to the rigatoni with meatballs and mozzarella. The pasta is baked to a crisp crust, the way they do it in Neapolitan trattorias, and served in the spirit of home-style classics.

Among the fish dishes: salmon with vegetables, Kenyan green beans, and a mint-and-citrus sauce — everything here rides a spring wave of lightness, juiciness, and a bit of warmth. And for special evenings, the menu has a filet mignon with kohlrabi and truffle sauce: a calm, elegant, well-composed dish with no excess drama.

The dessert section has two newcomers and one comeback. The cannoli named "1+1=4" plays with flavor by serving two tubes at once: one with pistachio and lemon confit, the other with coconut and berries — a dessert built for those who can't pick just one. The comeback is the "Peach" dessert. It stays exactly as people remember it: striking to look at, precise in flavor, evoking memories. Even the caption on the photo stayed the same — "Girl/Boy with Peaches. Best version, Moscow, summer 2025."

Summer doesn't start at Lumicino without cocktails either. Peach Bellini and strawberry Rossini are back on the menu here — these drinks aren't just a habit, they're already a house tradition.
