At the restaurant, guests can get acquainted with an atypical Greece: the cuisine will reveal itself from an unexpected angle, and the interior, menu, and bar will come together into a single narrative space. Every guest will be invited to dive into the mythical history of antiquity through the lens of current trends.

The name and the idea reach back several millennia, to when the eastern Mediterranean belonged to the mighty Luwian civilization. The Luwians were the "sea peoples," ancestors of the ancient Greeks, in whose traditions East and West intertwined. LÚWO invites you to look at this vanished world through the concept of a three-level modern Pantheon, where gastronomy and style interpret Greek culture and the Eastern influences upon it.

The restaurant has three floors: the basement is a secret bar, symbolizing the underworld; the main floor, with the central dining room and fireplace area, represents the earthly realm; and the terrace embodies the heavens. Natural materials and flowing shapes evoke the sea, the cliffs, and the shadows and tones of the Greek islands.

Brand chef Artem Chudnenko is responsible for the kitchen: "The Luwians lived in what are now Greece and Turkey, so in the menu we're exploring how to turn the classic facets of these two culinary paradigms into unexpected, vivid, modern combinations." The maritime elegance of Greece will meet the color of passionate Asia: there will be plenty of fire-cooked dishes, wood-fired oven baking, Eastern spices, and fruit. The menu excerpts intrigue: beef tartare with sujuk sauce, octopus with grilled pineapple and mango-chili sauce, dried beet with süzme cheese and blood orange sauce. Even familiar dishes will surprise: Greek salad, for instance, plays out in a new way with an umami dressing, while salmon comes with brivo and crushed tomato. An important feature of LÚWO is its signature desserts: goat-cheese semifreddo with an olive-and-walnut sauce, chocolate mousse with a chocolate-and-caper sorbet.

The bar menu is developed by team BARPOINT, led by bar brand chef Alexander Gordyshev. The goal is to present the restaurant's three levels differently and bring to life a Pantheon of gods for our time. Each floor has its own drinks, varying in strength, texture, and tartness, but all supporting the core idea of mixing Greek form with Eastern content. In the glass, the lightness and freshness of Greece deliberately contrasts with the vividness and spice of the East. A special feature is the ever-changing cocktail list, made up of image-driven cocktails. Each item tells, with irony, the story of a modern-day cult.

The wine list, curated by Lera Borisova, hides a summery mood and a wide selection of white, rosé, orange, and sparkling wines. Every label fits into the overall concept of blending classic and innovative. Among the regions represented — Greece, Turkey, the Balkan Peninsula, Armenia, and Russia.

Restaurant LÚWO will become a place you want to keep coming back to, to travel through the space, learn history through gastronomy, and explore trends. Here, the fantasy of an authentic civilization collides with reality and takes on volume, a new character, and an original flavor.
