The summer sports season at Khodynskoye Pole park is picking up pace thanks to a new outdoor venue — Moscow’s first roller rink for quad and inline skating. The space works in creative tandem with Ilya Averbukh’s production company, and on August 1 it’s hosting a themed evening for roller-sport fans.

The day will start at noon with a special menu from cafe Jnkl right on the rink’s grounds — guests will be offered smash burgers and summer drinks. From 5:00 to 6:30 PM there will be a masterclass on skating and basic tricks, aimed at any skill level, from beginners to those already confident on wheels. The evening program opens with a DJ set by Ara from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, and then, from 8:00 to 10:00 PM, continues with a joint back-to-back set by Ara and Sandra Golda.
Open-sky asphalt, roller skates and burgers — a formula for a summer evening with no stuffiness and no lines.
Besides quad skating, the venue also accommodates classic inline skates, skateboards and scooters — the format works for various kinds of urban sport. Those without their own gear can rent skates, skateboards and protective equipment, so no special preparation is needed to come.
The format combines sports, food and music in one open space, making ROLLER PARTY NIGHT yet another reason to spend a summer evening outdoors — with movement, good food and live sound.
