The Lucky Group restaurant family has a new addition — Saray opened on September 7, a spot in the Asador style, steeped in the atmosphere of the Mediterranean and the Caucasus. And fire too, quite literally: dishes here are cooked over coals, in the oven, or in a tandoor.

Menu

Brand chef Dan Miron runs the kitchen. In search of inspiration, he traveled across Northern Spain and the Caucasus, learning from the best chefs and studying the local cuisine. Hence the menu's emphasis  on plenty of meat, fish, seafood, and vegetables. Everything is cooked over open fire, staying true to the place's philosophy.

Quotes from the menu:

Chicken kebab — 1100₽
Cabbage, taleggio, truffle — 950₽
Sea bass, potato — 2900₽

Bar

Head bartender Maxim Gorelik and bar manager Alexey Sablin are in charge of the cocktails, while brand sommelier Dmitry Kipelkin and chef sommelier Nikita Ivanov handle the wine pairing. Mediterranean motifs come through everywhere: the Apricot X.O cocktail is made with a two-year-aged apricot distillate and quince purée, while the wine list explores every facet of Spanish wine.

Interior

The visual side of the restaurant was handled by architectural bureau NB-Studio (Jun, Maya, T1), led by Natalia Belonogova. The interior features plenty of wood, brickwork, a mix of different textures, and fairly massive tables — all the choices work well together. A lot of attention went into the details: handmade wicker lamps, old chairs, hides on the benches. This builds the atmosphere and rounds out the overall concept. Overall, the space feels airy, with plenty of room between tables.
