"Dom Kultur" Opens Its Summer Veranda.

A new summer space has opened in the inner courtyard at the intersection of Sretenka and Bolshoy Sukharevsky Lane — the veranda "Dvor Doma Kultur" ("Dom Kultur Courtyard"). It covers 100 m², seats 80 guests, and includes an open amphitheater zone that will host summer film screenings and public talks under the open sky. The space also has table tennis, cocktails and food to try, evening parties, or you can simply drop by during the day — the atmosphere depends on the time of day and the day of the week.

The veranda has become part of the larger "Dom Kultur" project — a multi-format culinary-and-cultural hub created by Zhenya Kachalova's restaurant group Bazar Family and multimedia company "VIZHU." The space brings gastronomy, music, and contemporary urban culture together under one roof. Chef Kirill Prokashev, known for projects Bourgeois Bohemians, Tartar Bar, and Madame Roche, curates the kitchen, offering a signature take on comfort food — familiar dishes with character.

Besides opening the veranda, a special menu inspired by "The White Lotus" launched at "Dom Kultur" on May 1. Tropical accents have appeared in the interior, video references play on the screens, the show's signature tune plays, and dinner might come with a gift of SKIN&LAB beauty kits or a Thai massage from Wai Thai. It's an attempt to immerse guests in the atmosphere of a Thai getaway — no flights or visas required.

The menu now has a chilled beet soup with scallop at 990₽, a seafood kebab with chimichurri in lettuce leaves at 1490₽, seared salmon with ponzu sauce and horseradish at 990₽, and a pitahaya dessert with guava and citrus granita at 690₽. The cocktail list has alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with vivid names: "Resort Secret" (rum, coconut liqueur, and passion fruit, 890₽), "Thai Clove" (pineapple-infused rum with a yuzu foam, 990₽), "Lotus Glow" (ginseng tea with butterfly pea, 750₽), "Sunset over the Ocean" (mango, Tibetan chamomile, and fresh orange juice, 750₽), "Sweet Meditation" (rooibos with cold cacao and citrus, 750₽), and the White Lotus coconut at 1200₽.

The veranda will stay open until midnight. Every day here brings a different scenario — from calm lunches and daytime meetings to parties and late-night conversation. The space runs in an open format and is available to anyone who wants to feel summer without leaving the city.
