345 is a fish restaurant with a Mediterranean atmosphere by Lucky Group. Chef Vittorio Cirizzi runs the kitchen, and the menu is heavy on fish and seafood. It's caught and delivered to Moscow twice a week straight from two oceans: the Indian and the Arctic. Even though the ocean concept comes through a bit less clearly at breakfast than at dinner, the atmosphere stays inviting. Breakfast runs from 9:00 to 13:00 on weekdays, and until 14:00 on weekends. The menu has both classic, familiar morning dishes like syrniki or poached eggs, and something more interesting — polenta with beef cheeks, for instance, or sausage with scramble and tomatoes.
Interior
The restaurant's interior was designed by St. Petersburg studio Studio APAA ("Biblioteka" in Peredelkino, Dmitry Blinov's restaurants), led by architect Alexey Penyuk. Once inside, you can feel the atmosphere of France and Italy. It comes through in the details: the furniture, the lighting, the pleasant color combinations. A display case with fish and seafood separates the dining area from the kitchen. Overall, it came out clean, with no excess decoration. The interior complements the kitchen beautifully and, for me personally, makes the place even more appealing.
What did I try?
— Polenta with beef cheeks and a poached egg, 650₽. A great choice for those who want to try something new and out of the ordinary — I recommend it. I liked the beef cheek, no complaints there. The polenta, though, could have been a bit smoother; there's room to improve it.
— Syrniki, burnt chocolate cream, 650₽. Served with sour cream and topping. A well-balanced dish: fluffy syrniki are nicely complemented by the burnt chocolate mousse. This is one of those cases where the syrniki genuinely taste of cottage cheese, and the topping tastes like salted caramel.
— Green salad, salmon, egg, 800₽. Be prepared for the dish to be cold. It doesn't affect the taste at all, I just had different expectations. Another not-quite-standard option for morning variety.
— Green buckwheat with egg, truffle, parmesan, 670₽. I love savory porridge, and this was no exception. The flavor is excellent, though I'd have liked a bit more parmesan — they were sparing with it.
Overall impression
Inspiring interior, good food, fast service. The breakfast atmosphere is naturally different from the evening one. But it was comfortable, even with the morning light and a half-empty room. The only thing that bothered me was a wobbly table. Other than that, 345 confirmed it belongs in our restaurant guide.
