Restaurant Michèle Opens in St. Petersburg.

Team "Schastye" ("Happiness") is launching a new project — restaurant Michèle, opening in May 2025. The venue will sit in the historic center of St. Petersburg, with panoramic windows onto St. Isaac's Cathedral. The space brings together several zones: a gallery for morning breakfasts and late brunches, an elegant restaurant, an intimate chef's-table lounge, a piano bar, and a cinema with a curated repertoire.

The creators drew inspiration from the figure of the Archangel Michael crowning the cathedral's balustrade. Hence the name — Michèle. The project's interior combines the aesthetic of classic French brasseries with touches of mid-20th-century Parisian chic. It's a place for dinners with friends, cocktails to live music, and unhurried movie nights.

A separate space is set aside for a cozy movie theater. The lineup: festival films, premieres, and cult classics. Before screenings, guests are invited to an apéro — light drinks and snacks. Cocktails can be ordered at the bar, but service pauses during the screening itself. The atmosphere draws on Woody Allen's film "Midnight in Paris."

The piano bar will become the center of Michèle's evening life, with jazz, live vocals, and stylish arrangements of popular songs. The intimate lounge, with its stage-kitchen, will create a space for culinary gatherings: the chef will cook in front of guests to their favorite music.
