The bar menu is built around agave: mezcal and tequila sit alongside classic and signature cocktails. There's a section of non-alcoholic options and a separate selection of rare agave varieties. The kitchen at El Copitas is Mexican, but without the tourist clichés. Here they make tacos with various fillings, ceviche, and Mexican tartare with bone marrow. Meat dishes come with guacamole and pico de gallo. Our restaurant guide recommends trying the Margarita and the Taco with octopus and Ramiro pepper salsa.
