The hotel has just 275 rooms; rates start from $300 a night, and the most expensive room, with a Burj Khalifa view, can be booked from $1,300 a night. The standard rooms are fairly spacious and done in calm tones, exactly what you'd want. The only interior misstep is a gold-framed painting that feels entirely out of place. The view from the window isn't the best, but housekeeping, done daily, is spot on.

Among the hotel's public spaces is a beautiful lobby, ideal for business meetings — something guests take full advantage of. The hotel grounds include an excellent fitness center: spacious, bright, with water and towels provided, plus numerous rooftop restaurants and bars offering a magnificent view of Dubai.
