Origami Sushi

The Origami Sushi team calls the place a home of Japanese culinary craft. The first restaurant opened in Souq Mall back in 2014, and nearly ten years later another location of the chain opened in Dubai Mall.

The concept is a fresh interpretation of Japanese cuisine.

The menu features small starters, traditional soups, sushi and rolls, along with dishes cooked on a robata, the traditional Japanese grill.

The interior leans minimalist, with dark tones dominating. It was designed by a team led by Rania Hamid. Through monochrome combinations, natural materials, simple shapes and understated furniture, they recreated the atmosphere of the typical sushi bars found in every Japanese city.
