Surf Coffee X Muses

Surf Coffee × Muses is the first coffee shop from the chain of the same name in Kazan, located on Peterburgskaya Street.

The space is inspired by California aesthetics, surf culture and the atmosphere of musical freedom.

The venue opened in partnership with the art space Muses and is styled like a cozy apartment, complete with a living room, a kitchen, and even touches of personal daily life, giving it an especially warm, informal feel. The interior draws on a California-bungalow style, with surfboards, retro posters, musical instruments and Polaroid photos. The walls carry images of iconic musicians like Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain, and the shelves are stacked with books and objects that look like they were gathered on travels. Plenty of light wood, warm lighting and vintage touches create a sense of coziness and relaxation.

The menu offers a wide range of drinks, from classic espresso and cappuccino to signature raf coffees with lavender, raspberry or almond. There are also matcha shots, refreshing lemonades and smoothies made with fruit, greens and spices. Among the dishes: curd pancakes, sandwiches, bowls and fresh pastries. The coffee shop carries branded merch from the Surf Coffee Coalition and designers Surf Hommie.
