Restaurant Lulua is located in the center of Kazan, on Professora Nuzhina Street. The project was created by the Fine Group restaurant group, known for its projects Chirem and Gina.
The venue's concept is inspired by Middle Eastern culture and the traditions of hospitality.
The restaurant's interior is a harmonious blend of Middle Eastern aesthetics and contemporary design. The space, designed by the Moscow studio Krivtsova & Redina, is done in warm sand and terracotta tones recalling the colors of desert sand and sunlit stone. Textured walls and a patterned tile floor, styled after the paved streets of Marrakesh, create a cozy atmosphere. The interior uses antique copper jugs, samovars, carved light fixtures and painted plates decorating the walls and shelves. The space is rounded out with woven baskets, clay vases, and handmade ceramic tableware created by Kazan artisan Liliya Grigorieva. Live plants are placed throughout the rooms.
The menu blends authentic Middle Eastern dishes with original interpretations. The appetizer section features classic Eastern meze: hummus, baba ghanoush, labneh, and fresh flatbreads baked in a tandoor. Among the mains: lamb dolma, chicken shawarma, and traditional Lebanese manakish with cheese. The bar list features original cocktails inspired by Eastern flavors.
