New Bistro J'PAN in Khamovniki.

The eighth J'PAN bistro has opened on Lva Tolstogo in the "Krasnaya Roza" quarter. It was launched by Mikhail and Denis Levchenko, the creators of J'PAN, RA'MEN, KOOK, WU SHU, and Senti Menti, together with Alexander Sysoev. The menu brings together beloved Japanese dishes: donburi, ramen, curry, tonkatsu, as well as teppan desserts — taiyaki and takoyaki. Guests are greeted by a dessert display case, a spacious bar, and a new room format: large windows, brick walls, compact tables, and cushions on the windowsills. The second room is done in the japandi style that's become the chain's signature. The bistro seats 56 in total.

To mark the opening, J'PAN has introduced exclusive flower bento, available only at this location until March 5. Guests are offered two options: with beef (1500₽) and with seafood (1600₽). The first includes beef nikumaki rolls with green beans, chicken skewers, a tamagoyaki roll, a salad with gomadare sauce, and colorful onigiri with mushrooms. The seafood bento has tuna, salmon, and scallop sashimi, karaage shrimp, sakura-denbu rice, and a gomadare salad. Both are garnished with furikake flakes, daikon flowers, and pickled lotus root, evoking blooming sakura.

Besides the special menu, guests can look forward to gifts from The act and Mriya Resort & SPA. They've released a sakura-scented body care collection, inspired by the Japanese garden on the hotel's grounds. Every guest receives a card with a sakura flower on it, and a petal is added for every dish or drink ordered. Once you've filled in the whole flower, you can choose a gift — hand cream, body lotion, or massage oil from the Virgin line. Guests can also enter a raffle for a trip to Mriya Resort & SPA. The grand prize: a two-day stay at "Shogun's Estate," a villa amid blooming sakura. Results will be announced March 5 on J'PAN's social media.

The bistro's interior joins Japanese minimalism with the industrial aesthetic of the "Krasnaya Roza" quarter. The designers kept the exposed brickwork, adding a warm terracotta color that plays up the building's coziness and historic style. The space is zoned with wooden partitions featuring fluted glass and hanging fabric panels, creating a sense of lightness and airiness. The design keeps to the japandi style, blending Japanese restraint with Scandinavian comfort.
