Education and the Start of His Career
Alexey Pinsky graduated from the State University of Management, where he studied organizational management at the Department of Management in Machine Building and Power Engineering. After graduating, he began his career in the wine industry, becoming purchasing director at DP-Trade, one of Russia's largest wine importers. Experience working with the world's leading wine houses shaped his view of quality and attention to detail, which later became the foundation of the Regent restaurant project.

Public Activities and Recognition
Pinsky actively takes part in developing Russia's entrepreneurial and cultural environment. He sits on the expert council of the State Duma Committee on Small and Medium Business, is a member of the Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and a member of the boards of trustees of RDIF and the Regional Development Fund.
Alexey Pinsky also serves as patron of the Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art, one of the country's largest art projects. For his contribution to developing Moscow's gastronomic scene, he received a commendation from Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, and in 2023 became "Restaurateur of the Year" according to The Voice magazine.

Restaurants
Restaurant Regent, opened by Pinsky in 2019, became a reflection of his personal philosophy — the pursuit of perfection in everything. Alexey took part in every stage of the project's creation, from concept and renovation to menu and wine list. Regent positions itself as a top-tier restaurant, where every detail serves the idea of impeccable taste.
The menu is built on premium ingredients and precise flavor combinations. One of the most recognizable dishes is scallops with foie gras and miso on orange juice — an example of a combination from different gastronomic worlds that became the restaurant's calling card.
Regent's wine list includes more than 300 labels, and every wine makes it onto the list only after Alexey's personal approval. This approach earned the restaurant two Wine Spectator glasses, an international rating that evaluates the world's best wine lists.
Audience and Philosophy
Alexey Pinsky builds Regent as a restaurant for those who know exactly what they're looking for. It's not a tourist spot or a venue for casual visits. Regent is conceived as a space for people who value authenticity and delicate attention to detail.
Pinsky's philosophy rests on unconditional quality and attention to nuance. He's convinced there are no small things in gastronomy: every ingredient matters, every texture, every note of flavor and aroma. In his understanding, the perfect restaurant is the result of uncompromising choices, where even a minor detail can change the entire impression.
