Antipa

ANTIPA is a café-refectory attached to the Church of the Holy Martyr Antipas of Pergamum. Architects Mikhail Knyazev and Anastasia Balakireva renovated the old building that now houses the coffee shop.

This fashionable Orthodox café carries a distinct sense of peace, calm and warmth.

The nourishment here isn't just physical (coffee, pastries and porridge make up the menu) — it's spiritual too (the energy of the place) and emotional (connecting with like-minded people). It's never dull: the café regularly hosts workshops, lectures, film screenings and meetings with the church's clergy.
