Catch 22

Catch 22 is a bar and record library on the Fontanka embankment in St. Petersburg. It's a new project by the team behind Cherchez La Tarte and Cherchez Bistrot.

Attention here is focused on music and sound, with the atmosphere built through a carefully designed space and precisely tuned acoustics.

The interior was designed by the London bureau Studio Cache. The space is done in calm tones, with an emphasis on comfort and visual restraint. At the center is the bar counter and a premium Tannoy sound system that sets the rhythm for the whole room. Soft light, muted-texture furniture and natural materials make the room intimate and warm. The decor carries a British restraint, while every detail underscores the project's musical focus.

The menu is built around drinks and light dishes typical of a bar format. The list includes cocktails, beer, spirits and appetizers matched to different kinds of drinks. Catch 22 unites gastronomy and sound in a single rhythm, offering a space where everything serves the mood and the quality of the experience.
