Avgvst

A project by the Russian jewelry brand Avgvst. The space on Rubinsteina Street doubles as both a flagship store and Natalia Bryantseva's coffee shop.

Coffee comes in two forms here: a classic version as the foundation of the coffee tradition, and an "avant-garde" one with a wide-ranging palette of flavors.

The interior was designed by artist and designer Harry Nuriev with his team from Crosby Studios — the result is simple but bright: yellow dominates, evoking the sun that Saint Petersburg so often lacks. Fittingly, you can soak up some real sunshine outside, where a summer terrace is gradually taking shape.

What's on the menu? Just buns and coffee. Various croissants, pastries, tarts and cakes pair well with a milky coffee or an espresso. In April 2023, Avgvst announced a collaboration with a well-regarded bakery: every morning at Avgvst you can try pastries from "Podpisnye Bulochki."
