Chef Vitaly Papp presents disarming culinary tasting sets each season, while Mechtateli's founder Lyudmila Ivanova carefully pairs sparkling wine to go with them. The menu features dishes made from local, seasonal ingredients, and the ricotta cheesecakes and unusual coffee-based cocktails have long been a local legend, as has the bar menu, which includes around 300 wines.

The space is done in loft style: whitewashed walls, wooden furniture and Edison bulbs. The café also has its own bakery, so trying the bread, croissants and kraffins is a must!
