A lively city café with familiar everyday food and fresh pastries. The idea was brought to life by Sergey Glazunov and Klim Zhukov, who enlisted coffee-industry specialist Irina Sharipova for help.
Aster combines its own bakery with an open kitchen, so the bread is always crisp and the food always fresh.
The space resembles a typical Scandinavian coffee shop — plenty of light, minimalism, coziness. The design is by architect Maria Kochalova. Chef Konstantin Bulychev kept the menu no-frills: oatmeal, scramble, sandwiches, pasta. The wine list is dynamic enough that the waitstaff will happily help you navigate it.
