Bar "Needle" is an intimate speakeasy on Gorokhovaya Street in St. Petersburg. A new project by restaurateurs Henri Bert, Steven Sharma, Roman Kiselev and media manager Ilya Altshuler.
Electric Negroni
The interior of "Needle" creates the atmosphere of a vintage music club. The space seats only 20 guests, making it intimate and cozy. The main focus is on retro aesthetics: wood finishes, soft dim lighting and a vintage sound system with a vinyl record collection. The bar counter is done in a minimalist style, and the seating is arranged so guests can comfortably enjoy the music and the drinks.
"Needle"'s menu is inspired by Japanese cuisine and features concise but carefully worked-out dishes. Among them: a scallop hand roll, a donburi with roe and salmon, fries with Japanese mayonnaise, and salmon kushiyaki. The bar list features original drinks, including the "Eau de Vie Sonic," "French 75," "Ultracosmo," "" and "Mirin Red Snapper."
