Goose Goose is an Italian restaurant by the Italy community on Bolshaya Konyushennaya in St. Petersburg, with two verandas and a historic address that once housed Russia's first cocktail bar.
The building remembers a great deal: in the 19th century, one of St. Petersburg's celebrated restaurants was bustling here, and later, Russia's first cocktail bar, "Medved." Today it houses a two-floor Italian restaurant that fits naturally into walls with a St. Petersburg biography. Inside, there's still the sense of a place with a past, but without museum dust: classic architecture, a tidy room rhythm, and a style where the contemporary doesn't argue with the historic.

The restaurant's space is arranged so guests can choose their evening's format to match their mood. The large ground-floor room continues up to a second level with a different view of the room and the street. A separate story is the two summer verandas. The first is tucked away in an enclosed courtyard: no city noise, just dim light and a sense of intimacy. The second opens right onto Bolshaya Konyushennaya, offering a view of the full rhythm of central St. Petersburg — passersby, façades, the living fabric of the city. For those who prefer privacy, there's a separate lounge with a balcony, a space for private dinners and small corporate evenings.
The Italian cuisine here is built around a clear, comfortable dinner script, without heaviness or excess decoration.
