SUR

This is a place where creative types, locals and visitors often gather. On weekdays there are film screenings or game nights, and on weekends things turn into loud parties. It's a multi-format, art-driven, culturally rich venue — the team makes a point of supporting dancers, photographers, designers, poets and musicians. SUR is also dog-friendly.

SUR is an atmospheric café in the center of Sochi, on Vorovskogo Street.

Inside is a pleasant, bright interior: high ceilings, panoramic windows, live plants. The walls have wood paneling and abstract paintings. Light-colored wooden furniture, spot lighting, columns, plenty of open space and comfortable seating. The decor includes an assortment of details, from a disco ball on the ceiling to silver tinsel over the bar and an old telephone. There's also a vinyl sound system and records.

The menu is small but varied. Breakfast is served all day: classic options like curd pancakes and porridge, pancakes, and the big Sur Breakfast built on scrambled or fried eggs. The main menu includes bruschetta with various toppings, baked sweet potato with creamed spinach and sour cream, tuna poke, and hot dogs. Among the drinks are coffee classics and original variations, tea, cold lemonades and milkshakes, smoothies and craft cider.
