Mechanica Coffee

Mechanica is a coffee shop in the center of Krasnaya Polyana with all-day breakfast and specialty coffee. Inside is a stylish, minimalist interior: large panoramic windows, warm wood, reflective surfaces and deliberately roughed-up ceilings.

On clear days the space is bathed in sunlight, which makes the atmosphere even cozier.

The windows offer panoramic views of the mountains, Krasnaya Polyana's calling card. Light-colored furniture pairs nicely with green plants, and there are drawings and paintings on the walls. In the evening the atmosphere turns more intimate thanks to accent lighting. You can settle into an armchair by the window, or work on a laptop at the large communal table. Unobtrusive, calm music plays in the background, never distracting from your work or your conversation with friends.

Mechanica Coffee has a soft spot for alternative brewing: pour-over and filter, plus AeroPress and V60. The barista is always happy to help pick a bean, and for fans of the classics a cappuccino or latte comes together easily. The coffee menu includes a Brew Bar, a wide choice of cold drinks, and specialties like coca-coffee, which combines classic cola with hand-crafted cold brew. Breakfast is served all day, though the selection is small: curd pancakes, bread and butter, yogurt with granola, porridge and omelet. For a quick bite there's a hot dog or a sandwich.
