A new project by Alexey Olkhovoy (Yauza, Blanc, Radio, Kristall House of Culture). ".original" is a contemporary restaurant located in the building of a former railway depot on Zemlyanoy Val.

The restaurant's interior blends industrial style with mid-century modern, combining textured concrete, wood, metal and glass.

Inside is a spacious room with a bar and open kitchen, dark wooden tables, understated chairs and vintage leather-and-fabric armchairs. Open shelving is filled with books, figurines and art objects, giving the effect of a lived-in space. The contrast of materials underscores the interior's depth: cold concrete is balanced by the warmth of wood, and the furniture's strict forms are offset by flowing decorative lines. Through the windows, on the side facing the railway tracks, the rhythmic clatter of train wheels fills the space with a distinctive atmosphere.

Brand chef Andrei Lapin and executive pastry chef Daria Serebryakova built the menu after a trip through Italy. The kitchen is built around fresh handmade pasta, original risotto variations, and appetizers with an emphasis on local ingredients. Among the dishes: burrata with persimmon, tomatoes and lavender, bruschetta with eggplant caponata and basil, and beef tartare with artichoke cream.
