Cutfish, or simply "Katfish," is a sushi bistro by Alexander Oganezov on Bolshoi Kozikhinsky Lane, near Patriarch's Ponds.
The concept is inspired by Japanese izakaya bars: a relaxed atmosphere, straightforward food and friendly prices.
A 65-seat room with an open kitchen, where you can watch the cooks at work. The menu is built around sushi, sashimi, raw dishes and josper-grill cooking. The sushi is made from fish delivered daily — akami tuna, toro, scallops, botan shrimp.
On the robata: squid, crab claws with kimchi, duck breast. A separate section is devoted to wagyu served in various ways. Our restaurant guide's team rated the dinner 7 out of 10.
