Pinch

Pinch's interior is the work of designer Natalia Belonogova, done in a wabi-sabi aesthetic: massive wooden tables, muted warm tones, and attention to every detail. The space feels intimate, almost like home — there's no excess, only what serves the atmosphere. The menu is shaped by brand chef Luigi Magni: the core stays stable, but is regularly supplemented with seasonal specials built on local ingredients relevant to the time of year.

Our guide's team finds it very hard to leave on a Friday evening — the atmosphere is friendly and playful, the kind of evening that's tough to cut short.

Breakfast is served here from early morning until 4pm, in the unhurried spirit of Patriarch's Ponds. Menu examples include mini pancakes with wild strawberry and malt mousse: tiny pancakes with a generous berry portion that cover the dessert side of a morning visit. Pastry chef Kirill Abakshev builds a three-layer dessert of soaked sponge cake, pineapple pieces, coconut espuma and passionfruit sorbet — a well-thought-out, moderately exotic construction.

Pinch's bar menu splits into three directions. Classics, for those who know what they want. Seasonal cocktails, with ingredients that change along with the kitchen's menu. And an "Unusual" category — cocktails with no ingredient list: instead of the recipe, each one is described with a short quote. That format invites experimentation and conversation with the bartender.

Our undercover guests rated it 7 out of 10 for breakfast — consistent food quality, good coffee, and that particular unhurried ease that's hard to find elsewhere in the neighborhood.
