The Bix Bar is a jazz project by Daniil Goldman, jazz musician Kostya Gevondyan and Olga Larina, recreating the atmosphere of 1920s America. Its main feature is live jazz every night. The cocktail list, by bar manager Maxim Sitnitsky, is classics with an original twist, no lavender syrups or overcomplicated ingredients.
The menu features American dishes, from the famous Cobb salad to grilled-cheese sandwiches. The kitchen is led by brand chef Miroslav Belotserkovsky.
The interior is the work of Maria Boyko: a small black-and-white checkered floor, dark-toned walls, a piano and a small stage facing it. The wall is decorated with a collection of old records by Bix Beiderbecke, the bar's namesake.
