Novoe Prostranstvo

New Space is a wine project by restaurateurs Vitaly Bgantsov and Dmitry Rubanenko (Veladora and Voda), located in the center of Moscow at the Theatre of Nations.

There's practically no menu — a few kinds of sandwiches and light bites are on offer.

The interior design draws on theatrical set dressing. Inside are walls stretched with white cotton fabric and minimalist decor with nothing extra. It's a small space, lined with small wooden tables and chairs, with a large wooden counter at the center.

The main focus is wine. The list offers a range of reds, rosés, whites and sparkling wines. The whites include bright, fruity, orange, dense, oily and crisp bottlings, while the reds range from light and soft to bold and rich. Wines are poured in 100 ml glasses, letting guests try several different options.
