The Rockets coffee shop on Tverskoy Boulevard is a project by Egor Neveykin, with house-roasted coffee, pastries by Maria Neveykina, and a learning space inside. It brings together everyday food, a shop and a school.

Across from the "Izvestia" building runs a small, bright coffee shop, its interior built on the contrast between large windows, smooth white surfaces and an almost complete absence of excess decor. The design rests not on finishes as such but on geometry and ease of movement through the room. That's why the space feels composed and calm even at peak hours, when people stop by for a cup of coffee, stay for lunch, or open a laptop for a few hours.

Our guide's team considers this one of Moscow's best coffee shops: compact, minimalist, with pastries worth a visit even without a longer plan.

The main focus, of course, is coffee. Drinks here are made with house-roasted rockets.coffee beans, alongside Keen Tiger tea. Instead of the standard quick-seating setup, the team built a place where drinks sit alongside genuine everyday food. Maria Neveykina leads the kitchen: brioches, tartines, focaccias and marbled bread are baked on-site, breakfasts and brunches are put together, and the dessert case keeps pace with the coffee menu.

This address has another function too, one that makes it more than just a city coffee shop. Inside runs rockets.school, where the team holds lectures, workshops and sensory classes. The conversation here goes beyond coffee to taste and aroma more broadly, and joint sessions with Real Authentic Wine add a wine angle to the discussion. Beans, tea, drippers, Nespresso capsules and home-brewing accessories are also on display, so an ordinary visit easily turns into shopping for home.

Our undercover guests rated it 9 out of 10 for the coffee, for a consistent cup and clear quality that holds up even under heavy traffic. Breakfast scored 7 out of 10: the food here is pleasant and fitting, but what stays with you most is still the drink and the overall sense of a well-put-together city spot.
