Zhivago is a popular project by Alexander Rappoport, a Russian restaurant with a contemporary reading of the cuisine.

The menu, led by chef Anton Kochura, shimmers with the bright hues of local, seasonal ingredients: amber millet porridge with crayfish tails, poultry-liver crème brûlée with lingonberry, dumplings with crab, pancakes with game and, of course, a range of caviars — from pike to pressed sturgeon. The waitstaff are exclusively women in dresses styled after the 1980s, with white collars, aprons and gloves worn without exception.
