White Rabbit is Boris Zarkov's flagship restaurant on the 16th floor of the Smolensky Passage, where Vladimir Mukhin reimagines Russian cuisine through the lens of the best local ingredients.

The glass dome on the sixteenth floor of the Smolensky Passage isn't just an architectural gesture — it's the starting point for everything that happens inside. The dining room and the spacious summer terrace were renovated to a design by Natalia Belonogova: after the 2020 renovation, the space became brighter and more restrained, with no excess detail, and full focus on the view that opens up from this height — the Moscow skyline literally becomes part of the interior.

Our guide's team finds the panoramic views from the 16th floor to be one of the strongest impressions of a visit, one that stays with you.

The menu is built around Russian ingredients — but read in a contemporary way rather than a folkloric one. Brand chef Vladimir Mukhin shapes each dish as the result of culinary expeditions across the country: rare regional ingredients end up on the same plate as techniques typical of the world's best restaurants. Nothing decorative — only what serves the flavor.

The restaurant's international recognition is concrete. In 2021 it ranked 25th on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list, and Vladimir Mukhin made the top nine chefs on the planet according to the Best Chef Awards. Separately, there's a Michelin star, confirming a consistently high level of cooking. Our undercover guests rated it 8 out of 10 for dinner, noting the precision of the flavors and the sense that every dish is thought through to the end.
