The first restaurant of their own from Anna and Nikita Tataev has opened in the VTB Arena residential complex, with a park view — the European soul. Asian touch concept offers familiar dishes reworked through Asian techniques and ingredients under brand chef Alexander Efremov.
Anna Bistro is the first restaurant project of the couple Anna and Nikita Tataev, opened literally beneath the windows of their own apartment in the VTB Arena residential complex on Leningradsky Prospekt. A panoramic view of the park, vintage objects from around the world in the decor, each one brought back from a personal trip — all of it makes Anna Bistro Moscow something more than just a neighborhood spot. The concept is stated briefly and precisely: European soul, Asian touch — a European foundation with delicate Asian accents that don't overwrite the familiar flavor but add a new layer to it.
"We wanted to create a place with gastronomic interest, but with clear, comfortable cooking for every day," say Anna and Nikita Tataev, the founders of Anna Bistro.
The kitchen is run by brand chef Alexander Efremov, whose résumé includes Santi from Lucky Group and Claudia with Glen Ballis. His approach reads clearly in the menu: beef stroganoff sits next to beef tataki, crab cakes are served with miso sauce, chicken soup gets ramen noodles, and the Caesar comes with tempura shrimp. Rolls at Anna Bistro get their own section: they're served with a mixed salad, building a subtle dialogue between Asian and European tradition. The avocado roll with citrus ponzu is one of the dishes typical of this approach.
Breakfast is served here all day, until six in the evening. Classic build-your-own options sit alongside original dishes: curd pancakes with yuzu caramel, and a Japanese tornado omelet with crab, herbs and fresh tomatoes. Coffee is made from 100% Ethiopian arabica on a Florentine La Marzocco machine — one that's long earned trust in Moscow among those who know coffee.
The bar list was created by head bartender Vitaly Tsai, who came up through Ugolek, Pinch and Cape. His cocktails invite a personal approach: guests can adjust any drink to their own taste. The list's flagship is Anna's Special, built on gin with lavender soju. The wine list covers both classic labels and less obvious finds; one cabinet is set aside for Anna's own personal collection. For beer drinkers, there's Bergauer on tap.
Restaurant Anna Bistro on Leningradsky Prospekt is positioned as a spot for business lunches, wine evenings and intimate events — that is, for different rhythms and different occasions. The interior supports that: vintage furniture and tableware gathered from around the world create the feeling of a lived-in space rather than a sterile concept. For a neighborhood with dense residential development around the arena, this is arguably exactly the format that was missing.
