Centrale Bistro by Evgeny Vikentev

Centrale Bistro by Evgeny Vikentev is a new modern bistro in Moscow, located in Bryusov Lane. The project was created by Evgeny Vikentev, known for the projects Beluga, Vinny Shkaf, Hamlet+Jacks and Cell, together with Elena Antonicheva. The space was conceived as a gastronomic venue with a light atmosphere, with an emphasis on flavor, detail and attention to the ingredient.

Muted tones, an open wine rack and intimate lighting create a sense of coziness and underscore the space's gastronomic focus.

The interior blends warm minimalism with vintage accents. The finishes retain a marble floor and glass blocks nodding to Soviet modernism. The ceiling is made from 70-year-old solid wood, and all the wooden elements are handmade.

The menu is built on seasonal farm ingredients and blends Italian, French and Spanish motifs. The concept was developed by Evgeny Vikentev, and chef Nikita Nikitin handles its execution. The wine list, put together by Polina Smirnova and Daria Kozhevnikova, is divided into conceptual blocks, from light, popular wines to rare, limited bottles. Ivan Sablin curates the cocktail program. The presentation uses designer Biscuit Ceramics tableware and hand-blown Gentle Glass glassware, which brings out the flavor and underscores the restaurant's style.
