Yudashkin Sad

A project by restaurateur Alexander Oganezov (Remy Kitchen Bakery, Muse, Pino) in the courtyard of the Valentin Yudashkin fashion house. The terrace looks like a genuine garden, hence the name ("sad" means "garden" in Russian). Tables with white tablecloths, striped sofas and wicker chairs are practically buried in greenery. The terrace is bright and very spacious, seating up to 250 guests at once.

The interior's creator, designer Evgenia Uzhegova (Loro, Eva, Niki), drew inspiration from the bohemian atmosphere of Parisian street-side restaurants and brought it to life in this Moscow project.

The restaurant's kitchen is led by chef Ruslan Polyakov (Muse, Pino, Remy Kitchen Bakery). The menu features contemporary "Moscow" cuisine: from oysters and black caviar to vareniki and dumplings. The starters include sauerkraut, sun-dried tomatoes with cream cheese, and pike roe with radish; the salads include an Olivier with crab, a classic Caesar and a Greek salad. The mains include chicken Kiev, vareniki with potato and mushroom, and lamb pilaf. There's a large dessert selection: a Pavlova with peach and passionfruit, a blueberry muffin with salted caramel, pistachio ice cream with olive oil. The bar menu features original cocktails by Vitaly Skripchinsky, and the wine list has a solid selection from France and Italy.
