The restaurant, located on Nikolaya Ershova Street in the ART City art center, is White Rabbit Family's first project in the Tatarstan capital.
"Gorynych" in Kazan is a gastronomic space combining open-fire cooking tradition with contemporary culinary trends.
The venue's concept is inspired by Russian fairy tales and folklore. The interior is done in warm, muted tones, blending ethnic elements with contemporary comfort. Natural materials dominate the decor — warm wood and soft fabrics that give the space life and a sense of coziness. The ceiling is decorated with exposed wooden beams that underscore the room's volume and character. The walls are painted in the spirit of Ivan Bilibin. Long sofas with bright cushions line the windows, their patterns carrying Eastern Tatar motifs. Small wooden tables are paired with simple but comfortable chairs. The bar counter has ethnic accents and is lit with soft red light that gives the space depth and expressiveness.
The kitchen is built on open-fire cooking: wood ovens, josper grills and smokers. Here you can try craft bread on a monastery sourdough starter, Neapolitan pizza from a wood-fired oven, house-aged steaks, including a Tatar horsemeat ribeye, and signature dishes like the "Gorynych" cutlet with lingonberry sauce. Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 to 12:00. The bar list offers signature cocktails inspired by Russian folk motifs. Non-alcoholic drinks include smoothies, mocktails and craft lemonades.
