Artest

A restaurant-laboratory by Arkady Novikov and Artem Estafyev. Artest is built on a full-cycle system: the ingredients used in the dishes are made right here, one floor down.

The bar keeps pace, working in tandem with the kitchen: the list includes elaborate cocktails built on kombucha and other fermented ingredients.

Not every cocktail, but many of them. The name is said to combine parts of the chef's first and last name, but it describes the concept just as well: the culinary tests the team runs give rise to works of art in a fine-dining format.

The interior was designed by Eleonora Pimenova and architect Ekaterina Serykh of Veter Design & Architecture, resulting in a look that's beautiful and full of contrast.
