Cafeteria de Madre

Cafeteria de Madre is the second project by the Masa Madre bakery team, located in the historic Pavilion No. 40 on the VDNKh grounds.

The venue blends the atmosphere of an open bread production with a cozy café, offering guests fresh pastries as well as a varied breakfast and lunch menu.

The interior is done in light tones with an emphasis on natural materials. The space is designed to respect the historic architecture of the "Khleboprodukty" pavilion, preserving its distinctive style. The open kitchen lets guests watch the bread and other dishes being made, creating an atmosphere of transparency and trust. The interior uses elements that underscore the concept of a contemporary café with an emphasis on quality and natural ingredients.

Cafeteria de Madre's menu is built around fresh pastries and dishes for light breakfasts and lunches. Among them: a celery-pastrami sandwich, a mortadella sandwich, a shrimp-and-strawberry salad, and a cheese soup with pastrami. Among the desserts: cheesecakes, cookies and monkey bread. Drinks include coffee, lemonades and wine by the glass. The display case also carries products you can buy for breakfast at home: bread, butter, jam, and tuna confit.
