Hibiki

Hibiki is an original Japanese-cuisine restaurant created by chef Sang Kyun Oh. He has experience working in Japan, in the kitchen of London's L'Etranger restaurant, and on private yachts. He not only develops the menu but personally makes the sauces, designs the tableware for his dishes, and oversees plating.

The restaurant's concept is built on a blend of Asian and European culinary traditions.

Here you can order dishes like spicy scallop with coconut milk, octopus popcorn, and for dessert, pineapple ravioli or braised buta no kakuni pork belly in a soy-and-anise-based sauce. Special attention is given to the chef's flagship dish, kamameshi rice, cooked in a cast-iron pot and served with various fillings: seafood, steak, eggplant or mushrooms. Also on offer are premium sakes (33 varieties, including sparkling), gins and Asian whisky.

The restaurant spans two floors. The interior is done in pastel tones, making it a pleasant place to relax. The wood used in the finishes is paired with soft, rounded furniture and lush greenery. Warm light from ceiling lamps and sunlight create a cozy atmosphere in the evening. The panoramic windows look out onto the park, and two separate rooms, each holding up to six people, are available for small gatherings.
