Bolshoy Savvinsky Lane is one of Moscow's quiet but prestigious addresses, and it's here that Due Forni exists in two formats at once: a full-fledged restaurant with refined original cooking, and an Osteria, a more relaxed version of the same Italian spirit, with parties, a bar menu and seafood at the center of things. Our guide's team finds the restaurant's design fits organically with the character of one of Moscow's most exclusive neighborhoods, and that's felt from the first minutes.

The interior is built to balance respectability with liveliness: nothing extraneous, but nothing austere either. The space works for the guest, inviting a long dinner, unhurried conversation, and thoughtful wine selection. The wine list here genuinely deserves attention: European classics sit alongside less obvious labels, hard to find at most Moscow Italian restaurants.

Bruno Marino, a brand chef with a serious international background, builds the menu around a Mediterranean direction without trying to please everyone at once. The Italian classics stay recognizable but get an original interpretation: accents shift, flavors turn slightly unexpected, plating is deliberate. In the osteria, the focus shifts toward seafood and the cocktail list — the format allows for a bit more freedom and volume.
