Lucky Group's Londri restaurant sits on Dmitrovsky Lane, right in the heart of theatrical Moscow. Mediterranean and European cuisine, brand chef Alexander Shtepa, and an interior with a laundry's history.

The Londri space is built around the history of the location: in the last century it housed an ironing workshop, and that fact underlies the entire visual concept. Wave-shaped columns, woven textile patterns, glass lamps — everything nods to the theme of fabric and texture. The marble countertop of the open kitchen, the brass bar and the large windows give the room a bright, almost daylit character. The layout is designed so that the kitchen and bar are visible from anywhere in the room — 69 seats are arranged with no blind spots.

Our guide's team finds Londri has a strong seafood selection — a classic Mediterranean line-up.

The menu is built on European techniques and seasonal ingredients. Brand chef Alexander Shtepa, whose culinary outlook was shaped by travels through Italy, Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, sets the overall direction. Chef Andrei Bolshakov puts that approach into specific dishes: caramelle pasta with porcini, ravioli with crab and red caviar, lamb shoulder with roasted vegetables, thin wood-fired pizza. The principle they both share could be described as “not-simple simple” food: the flavor is clean, and the technique behind it stays invisible.

The pastry section is led by Darya Shmarova, who has worked in the kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants in London, Rome and Moscow. Her desserts combine the precision of classic technique with unexpected flavor choices: Pavlova with fresh berries, panna cotta with citrus, apple pie with vanilla ice cream, and a brownie with caramel honeycomb and pine cones. For breakfast, they bake canelés with a caramelized crust, scones and lemon cake.

The bar menu takes the form of a seasonal magazine. Lucky Group's head bartender Maxim Gorelik, together with bar managers Sergey Kolokhov and Konstantin Didenko, releases themed cocktail collections, each built on its own concept. The current edition is dedicated to theatrical Moscow: the cocktail names reference well-known productions. “Moonlight Sonata,” made with vodka, strawberry and orange, pays homage to a production at the Yermolova Theatre; “Revizorro,” made with gin, lychee liqueur and limoncello, is inspired by Gogol's “The Government Inspector” at the Moscow Satire Theatre.

The wine list is curated by Lucky Group's head sommelier Dmitry Kipelkin and Londri's sommelier Nora Krasavina. The selection includes sparkling wines by the glass, indigenous grape varieties, and Old World classics.

Our undercover guests rated it 7 out of 10 for dinner, noting the clean flavors of the main dishes and a well-developed bar menu. Breakfast received the same score, 7 out of 10 — the crab omelet stands out among the morning menu, though the timing of service still needs some fine-tuning.
